Why Bodywork?

Equine bodywork is an often overlooked tool in equine welfare that's becoming increasingly recognized and popular as a regular form of treatment. While diet, routine veterinary care and proper exercise are all essential for your horses well being, it's important to remember that just like humans - horses can experience strains, injuries, sore muscles, imbalance and tension.

Bodywork treatments can make a significant difference for our equine partners, no matter their discipline or stage of life. This work helps keep our horses feeling and preforming at their best, supporting both recovery and overall wellness.

Why do I offer a saddle assessment?

Saddle fit can have a large impact on performance, muscle discomfort, muscle underdevelopment and even over development. I am more than happy to take a look at your saddle and how it is working with you and your horse; pressure points, imbalances, size etc.

What I offer after a session?

I often provide suggestions for owners such as exercises for proper muscle development, stretches and riding tips to improve your horses over all comfort while working under saddle.

Owner Reports are sent out after every session via email covering my observations and treatments. This is a great way for owners and myself to keep track of progress and to keep the information on hand for further treatments. These reports are great references for veterinarians, coaches, therapists etc.

Why do I offer Sheath Cleaning?

Sheath cleaning is not the most glorious job but very necessary to keep our geldings healthy, clean and feeling good. Regular cleaning 1-2 times a year can prevent discomfort, infection and possible urinary flow issues. I use very mild cleaners and gentle techniques to ensure no irritation and minimal discomfort.
